The birth of Dhamati Habibur Rahman High School was not the result of a sudden decision, but the realization of a far-reaching dream. That dream was to create an institution to shape the future of the students of Dhamati region by providing quality education. In 1959, our founder Habibur Rahman felt a critical need in the then Debidwar Upazila. He saw that there was no good educational institution for higher education in the region, due to which students had to travel far and wide. It was out of this sense of need that he laid the foundation of Dhamati Habibur Rahman High School.

The journey was not easy in the beginning. We started our journey with limited resources and numerous challenges. Our activities started in a small space, with just a few students and teachers. This small group was our first strength, whose tireless work and dedication are the mainstay of our success today. On January 1, 1960, the school received its first government recognition, which was the first important step on our path of progress.

On the path of progress

Since its establishment, we have never stopped. Over time, our goals and activities have expanded. We have emphasized on co-curricular activities as well as ensuring quality education. Over the years, the school has achieved remarkable success in academic results and has contributed to various aspects of society. Our main motto was: to maintain the quality of education and instill moral and human values among the students. This motto has guided our every step in the right direction. Many obstacles have come our way, but our teachers, board of directors and guardians have been by our side, which has helped us to face every challenge.

Present and Future

Today, Dhamati Habibur Rahman High School is not just an institution, but a family. It has become the center of the educational life of thousands of students. We have not only achieved academic success, but have also been able to make a positive impact on the society and the lives of people. This institution has produced numerous talented students, who are working in various important positions in the country and abroad.
